Horizon Virtual Academy began with a simple observation: quality skill-based education in Pakistan was often out of reach — limited to major cities, expensive institutes, or generic online content that didn't reflect what employers and clients actually needed. Starting from Taunsa Sharif in South Punjab, we set out to change that.What began as a focused effort to teach practical digital skills has since grown into a complete online learning platform — spanning 12 schools and 200+ courses, covering everything from freelancing and digital marketing to finance, technology, and personal development. Every course was built with one question in mind: will this actually help someone get hired, start a business, or grow in their career? If the answer was no, it didn't make the cut.Today, Horizon Virtual Academy serves students, job seekers, and working professionals across Pakistan — proving that where you're from should never determine how far you can go.

OUR FOUNDERS
Ali Shair — Founder & CEO
Ali Shair founded Horizon Virtual Academy from a place of firsthand experience. While pursuing his veterinary studies, he began freelancing — learning digital skills the hard way, through trial, error, and real client work, with little structured guidance available locally. That experience exposed a clear gap: talented, motivated people in smaller cities and towns often lack access to practical, career-relevant training that actually reflects what the market needs.
Horizon Virtual Academy was built to close that gap. Ali Shair now leads HVA's strategy, technology, and growth — balancing his academic path with building a platform designed to give others the head start he had to find on his own.
